About Bilingual Sikh Punjabi

The seed of Bilingual Sikh Punjabi was planted while I was redecorating my daughter’s bedroom for her 5^th birthday. She loves rainbows, bright colours and is a creative, playful child. Along with that she is also very curious, intelligent and enjoys visual learning.

I wanted to incorporate artwork and learning resources in her bedroom and playroom that exposed Punjabi and Sikhi to her every day. When searching for pieces I couldn’t find anything that really suited the theme of her room, or that would catch her eye and draw her in. There were plenty of options for English learning resources or cute artwork, but not much choice for Punjabi alternatives.

That is when I thought maybe I could do something about it and began my journey into poster design, sourcing printers and learning how to build a website! I am so passionate about providing Punjabi families with affordable choices and empowering them to bring Punjabi and Sikhi to their children so we can raise a generation of children connected to their roots.
